At last night's committee meeting it was decided that the Captains Cup will be played at the Plough this year on the 25th of February.
A draw for the games will be made at my League game on Monday.

Congratulations to Ric Bithell who won the Lewes Captains Cup last night at the Plough, beating Derek Taylor in the final. Although Ric was off early with 1.2k opener, Derek broke down on 2.2k and Ric made sure with a 6k plus break before touching up when the bar dropped.
Ric had beaten Kevin Stoner in the first round and then hit a good 8k break to beat Huw Lincoln in the semi-final after Huw managed to Black Peg his opening score, while Derek beat Darren Newnham and then Colleen Park in a close semi-final with Derek sealing victory with a late 2k break just before the bar dropped.
Enjoyable and well supported evening, many thanks to the Plough for their hospitality and a nice spread of food. 8-)
