Great work as per usual from the hard-working Nigel.

Just one possible point to rectify for the future........Mick Daw: you have him down for Oxon, but I think he's one of ours (Sussex) - the rare commodity of a Hastings player. ;)

Nigel

I have been looking on the aebba website and have noticed that the UNDER 22s all time winners list does not include STEVEN ALDER who beat STEVEN SHEARD in the final in 2001

I don't know any of the scores, I just know the result

Are you sure Dave? that could well be another under 22 competition as I have Steven Sheard beating Dominic Kuligowicz in 2001 - which is in Pete Farrelly's BBQs.

what other under 22s competition was played at the post office club? Also i may have the wrong year, Steve was born sept 1979 and was 21 when he beat steve sheard so it could be 2000 and not 2001. I wonder if Keith remembers?. Steve said he won £25 as winner.

Dave i have an answer - Stephen Alder beat Andrew Wilson in the "Pro-Plumb" under 22 final in 2000 looking back at the BBQs. Not sure what this competition was exactly but I am guessing it was inter area. not the national one

Dave, I think Nigel's found the answer, as Steven or myself cannot remember him losing to your son Steve.
If it's the Andrew Wilson that I know he played in the Eynsham league in Oxfordshire.

Hi Nigel/Chris

I see that the Mens & Ladies AE Singles + Berk's results are now on the website, but the Berk's 2009 results are the 2008 results. ::)

I noticed earlier on today that the ranking rules are still the old ones, any chance of them being updated for anyone who wants to know what points you get for what?

If someone points me in the direction of an electonic copy I'll gladly do it. Are they posted on here?

This is the 'offending' guideline to be found on the drop-down menu of the AEBBA site (It's 2 years out of date):

http://www.aebba.org.uk/a_rankrule.shtml

Needs amending in accordance with Nigel's data, to be found here, (on the 'Tournaments' thread on the AEBBA board) :

http://barbilliards.proboards.com/index.....play&thread=224

Now, if you do a 'refresh' on the first bit, you will find that the amended version comes up, so I don't think there is any updating to do after all !

Can the 2009 Men's & 2008 & 2009 Ladies Internationals results be put on the Website please.

I had to find the results from the Tournament thread.

Cheers

Keith

PS I hope we have sorted a nice hotel out for the next England v Jersey match and NOT the Skylane Hotel. ???

Then they may send their best team across to play us this time. :P ::)
