In a high scoring game at The Chequer Inn,
Ash the home side drew a tight match 3-3 with The Two Sawyers in this
Division One clash.

Neville Potts (7,420) opened impressively for
the home side with a win, but Alan Smith (7,990) immediately hit back for the
visitors before Wack Sampson (5,860) snatched the last singles leg from Gary
Clarke thanks to an unfinished late break of 1,800 to put the home side ahead
2-1.

The first doubles saw Clarke & Smith (3,930)
level the match once more, before a decisive fourth game saw Clarke & Richard
Cousens (5,240) beat Tim Bourner & Potts by just 40 points as Clarke played
well to finish the game with an unbeaten 1,440 break and pot the last ball to
win. The final leg saw the home side level the match in style as Potts &
Sampson (7,570) both hit maximum breaks to end the match all square.
