Tarrat Tables have recently installed a table at The Plough Three Bridges Road Three Bridges Crawley RH10 1LG
01293 513714
They would like to enter a League sadly this is too late for this season. The table is being well used & they have the beginnings of a team.
We thought about this & came up with the idea of when Teams have a bye in the fixtures list they could play a friendly against the Plough either home or away.
Steve King has been in & introduced himself & can act as a go between for organising the matches.
I would like to encourage ALL teams that are willing to arrange to meet up with them & make contact this could lead to us gaining a new Team for next season.
This week Plough Lower Beeding have the bye so could be Plough V Plough & on The 27th it's Dun Horse A so I will be pushing for our side to get a match organised.
Can any other sides let Steve King or myself know if they are interested.

Good news for Barry Timson too, he will now have somewhere nearer home to practise on! LOL
We (Mill House) will probably be up for a friendly across town when next we have a Bye - on 5th February. 8-)

Unfortunately The Plough were unable to host us this Tuesday. A shame as I was looking forward to going there I will have to pop in on my own & have a game. Please don't let this put other teams off in arranging matches as I'm sure The Plough will get a side together soon.

I went in there yesterday for a few games with Steve King. The pub is very nice & the table is in a good place & is very playable apart from a slight drift on the left hand side which could easly be put right. The break is a dream & there could be some good scores on it.
It would be nice to see what happens when a match is played there, I think that most of the people that could make up a new team would be beginners.

Please don't let this put other teams off in arranging matches as I'm sure The Plough will get a side together soon. Breaking news from Reuters............. Black Dog turned up at the Plough TB on Tuesday to play arranged match, but not a single home player put in an appearance. The landlord was apologetic and the Dog players remained there for the whole evening and played amongst themselves. This does not bode well for a new team supposedly interested in joining our league(s).....the Mill House team are now lukewarm about making the effort when it's our turn for the 'Bye'.
