Brighton A 4, Redhill A 3 (played 1/11/09 at the Atlas)
Once more Redhill took it to the wire, but Brighton had just enough in the tank to provide the win. Disaster struck in the fifth game when Terry Oakley lost a big break by missing the object ball (the ball going straight down the hole) but Silver Fox managed to pull it back to 3-all with an excellent display. And with the pressure on, and the table unforgiving at times, Nigel had to play carefully rather than with his normal flamboyance and D.C. ran him close.

But an excellent evening, and most present will be meeting up again next weekend across the waves...............
