Red Lion 3 Lamb & Flag 3A game of two halves and missed opportunities! Fair result on the night though. Steve played well to take a game off Jon (and it could have been two) and Jenny did well in her second against a freshly tipped Ian. Colin lost 5-6K in the first against me but I did manage a 9100 opening break in the last. Jon Bamsey 7730 Steve Walker 5260 Ian Moss 2980 Jenny Parsons 2800 Colin Winstone 1790 Tony Willis 920 Jon Bamsey 5640 Steve Walker 6560 Ian Moss 1510 Jenny Parsons 5780 Colin Winstone 2340 Tony Willis 9960

That masons table is certainly interesting - couldnt get anything in during the first, made a pigs ear of the break and won on the final ball but in the second game, made two 4K approx breaks (lost one due to a whipper)

Nice to see the Royal Oak buzzing with people and the bar billiard table taking so much money - the new landpersons seem to have made a huge difference as a lot of the old customers have returned. Best pint of 6X I've ever had in there too.... ;D ;D Ray and Louise are coming on in leaps and bounds - it's good to see. cheers Tony

We were pleased to get a draw on this table as it has been a barren hunting ground of late... :D Turbo did well to keep Mark at bay in the second, but Milhouse exacted his revenge in the fifth! First loss of the summer for MT. The rest of the games were a bit industrial but I got a few together in the last to earn us the draw. Friendly, sociable evening as ever and some the biggest sausages you've ever seen... ;D ;D Flag go top for a day.... cheers Tony
