It's a long way away this year - 20th November (after Jersey in fact) - but could we be seeing the resurrection of Northants B in the County Championships ?
The way things stand, they would join the 'A' string in Division 2, so your two teams would be able to travel down together.
You have the luxury of three months in which to decide what you want to do.

Based on last years final tables, surely these would be the County Divisions this season.... Division 1 Berks A, Oxon A, Sussex A, Hampshire, Oxon B Division 2 Kent A, Surrey A, Sussex B, Northants, Berks B Division 3 Bucks, Kent B...... plus any new teams ??? Or have I missed something...... :-/ ;)

Yes, you have missed something: As far as I am aware, Pete, the AGM agreed the following principles for this year: 1. Only two divisions. 2. One extra team in Div 1 (no team relegated). 3. All other teams to be in Div 2. This will give a lineup of: Div 1 - Berks A, Oxon A, Sussex A, Hants, Kent A, Oxon B Div 2 - Surrey, Sussex B, Northants, Bucks, Berks B, Kent B + any 'new teams'. Tournament Directors Dave Alder and Nigel: please correct me if I'm wrong! As confirmed afterwards by Nigel. You will find this on "Time to go to two divisions ?" on the AEBBA Tournaments thread.

Thanks Clive, I had missed that...... ::) Good news, more games for us all. ;D 8-) Yes indeed, good news all round: Kent get to stay up, there's the likelihood of a Surrey 'B' again, and with more time available to sort themselves out, we might even see the return of Cambridge. :-/ A possibility of 8 teams would make for a long day, but as you say, more games has got to be good news - for us, if not for the TD ! ;D
