Rumours abound that KT beat Steven Sheard in the final Wonderful stuff, especially as neither player won their opening group! Supports the theory of holding something in reserve and saving the best till last. 8-) Congrats to a pair of worthy finalists. And icing on the cake for KT's best-ever year. 8-)

All,
Apologies for the delay in issuing, had many other things to do as well.
Rumours are correct, KT has become 4 time champion, beating Steve Sheard in the final, 14530 to 10010.
Steve broke off first and set a target of 9,860 to hit in what was a very nervous and up and down final. Kevin finishing the first leg with 2,850. In the second game KT composed himself and finished with a score of 11,680 to Steve's 150.
This is the first time ever we have had a World Champion losing 1 game as both KT and Steve finished second in their group.
In yet another strong Plate competition Sue Mariner and Bernie McCluskey played out an enthralling final with Bernie coming out on top by 10,500 to 3,950
Finally, the Pairs competition was once again fully subscribed with 5 pairs on the reserve list, therefore, as always, enter into this competition early. In the final Paul Sainsbury and Bernie McCluskey beat surprise opposition in Paul Barnett and Neil Higgins. With Paul/Neil knocking in 8K+ during the first game Paul/Bernie came back in the second with 11,270. Total scores being 13,880 v 8,550.
Congratulations to all Winners and to players who entered, without you there would be no competition.
Full results shall be published soon.

Congrats to a pair of worthy finalists. And icing on the cake for KT's best-ever year. 8-) While we await the flesh for the bones, a quick opportunity to reflect on a great season on the National stage for both players: Steven: Oxfordshire Open Wnr; National Pairs Wnr; Surrey Open Finalist; Sussex Open Finalist; World Championship Finalist.
K.T.: Winner of Guernsey Open; Surrey Open; Sussex Open; Bucks Open; Berks Open; Alternative Rules; and now the World Championship.
With the Grand Prix to come later this month, who's to say that that too won't be heading the way of one of these two men-in-form ? :-/

Is that because of exhaustion or drunkenness? 😉

You are exposing your email addresses to spam harvesters by posting them openly on here. Once harvested you will be inundated with 'interesting' offers for ever and a day!!.
My suggestion would be to disquise them eg sav(atsign)barbilliardsdd.co.uk
or refer to your profiles and make sure your email address is visible in your profile.
Alternatively the files will be available on the AEBBA site as soon as I get them.
Sean please let me have them ASAP.
Sav
