good, look forward to catching up with everyone and having a good few games, hope my handicap is nice and high, last time I played competatively was in the inter league 2 years ago (was on the winning team though) and have only had 3 or 4 games since then.

A long day again, plenty of competitive bar billiards, although the fun theme carried right on to the end, and it was good to see this year's guest team Lewes join in the spirit of the game.
This year the Ladies dressed up in Hula Hula Skirts (and not a lot else !) and some of the men were resplendent in their Caribbean shirts. Gary in full-length hula hula skirt and bright orange ensemble looking like the You've-Been-Tango'd man. And Kevin Stoner in his bright green hula skirt hardly put a foot wrong and is considering making it a permanent arrangement whenever he plays. ;D
The usual off-putting tactics were shamelessly employed, including a certain lady scorer flashing her thighs whilst a poor Darren was doing his best to ignore same and keep his eyes on the table !
A raffle raised over £200 for various cancer charities chosen by the ladies.
Anyway a big thank you to the organisers, table suppliers, Colin Robbins and Angie for the bar and well done once again to Dave and Caroline for running a good tournament to a strict schedule, and this is how the play finished, with last year's winners the 'B' league taking runners-up on the head-to-head result with the Hula Bitches who were level on points.
1. Mens County Team 32pts 2. B League Representatives 27pts 3. Hula Bitches 27pts 4. Presidents Select 26pts 5. Guest team (Lewes) 25pts 6. Hula Whores 24pts 7. Chairmans Select 21pts 8. A League Representatives 15pts
Teams: B League (Les Beech, Mike Fortune, Barry Hood, Aaron Hill, Neil Palmer, Pete Forrest, Richard Wickham) Lewes (Jean Brackenridge, Kevin Stoner, Ron Sheridan, Dave Ingram, Alan Brackenridge, Tony Jenner, Darren Newnham) A League (Graham Holman, Mark Fraser, Frank Doyle, Karl Tidy, Sue Oakley, Paul Reece, Anita Blackman) Presidents (Martin Pellett, Clive Thompson, Colin Frost, Tracey Bird, Jim Greensted, Dave Constable, Debz Pearse) Chairmans (Jason Wadsworth, Baz Symonds,Mick Williams, Mark Farragher, Gary Powell, Colin Robbins, Keith Wilkinson) Mens County (Terry Oakley, Richard Plaw, Laurie Roberts, Cliff Wayland, Geoff Jukes, Tony Cross, David Jones) Hula Bitches (Sharron Balcombe, Lorraine Hamblin, Linda Tidy, Sharon Ward, Amy Jenkins, Fiona Doyle, Bobbie Davis) Hula Whores (Genette Nicholls, Denise Wills, Caroline Jones, Karen Bacchus, Sally Mortimer, Sho Nicholls, Sacha Peters)

Hi all,
Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed the day and the chance to catch up with some dear friends, the bar billiards went quiet well as well although Terry gave me a right stuffing, hope to see you all again this time next year.
