Yeah, like we need yet another expensive variation of our game right now. ::) Bagatelle meets noughts and crosses. :o
I have a vision of Sav, drill in hand, "converting" this one in 15 years' time. ;D ;D ;D

Lovely bit of carpentry though...you could make a nice bar billiard table out of that! ;D
Tony
PS game looks a bit naff at first glance...

Looking at the website, and the factory where the prototype was manufactured by Suzo International.....
Suzo Int. have taken on the premises in Davis Road, Chessington previously occupied by the firm I used to work for (Thales UK, formerly Racal Defence).
Adjacent is King George's Fields which included Racal's cricket pitch. I did manage one 'jolly' to the site when they landed a Sea King helicopter on the field and a procession of us were able to have a look inside it.
Happy days...

Well what can I say, little skill required but... it may catch on as it is family orientated.
Does look FUN and my feeling is it may catch on as it entertains families, those with a disability as it can be played with a shoot and a game that requires some strategy in terms of scoring
Let's see :o

Another one from Sav's impresario acquaintance Mike....... www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bar-Billiard-Table-/301160469236www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kitchen-Dining-Table-with-Bar-Billiard-Game-/301161027073Bar billiards Jim but not as we know it: Choice of sizes - but with a new slant: normally you can have standard size 72" x 36" outer dimension, or one that is longer and narrower (76" x 34"). But on offer here is either 66" x 36" or 78" x 36" and both apparently have the same pocket configuration as a narrow SAMS (in a perfect diamond formation). So shorter or longer only ! Having a slate base fitted instead of one made of MDF bumps the already considerable price up. A drawer pulls out to allow access to the balls. But apparently no bar mechanism or timer - so not really bar-billiards ! Has this guy ever played a game himself, I ask ? And who in their right mind would spend a grand plus on one of these ? By the same maker of Trilliards and matching it in the ' white elephant' stakes IMHO. I reckon he'd have more chance of selling sets of rubber darts than one of these.

See this in a bar in Hook last year. looked a bit complicated as although it had an electronic calculator you had to enter the score manually. Whats the point in that!?

And I'd qualify that further by saying why have a watered-down but expensive version of bar billiards when you can have the real thing ?
