Thats an interesting one Clive, I had the good fortune to visit there 30 years ago (no table at that time) ;) it has history with my ex-wife, there is a large dedication on the outside wall stating that it was rebuilt (in 1872 if my memory serves me right) by her great grandfather Benjamin Biggs, there was also a window in one of the back rooms inscribed (by diamond ring) "Sid Biggs got drunk 1871", her family celebrated the 100 anniversary in similar fashion ;D The village of Honey Street used to be around 70% of her ancestors. Back ib the 80's it was a lovely pub but who knows what 30 years have done to it
It is also a favourite haunt for UFO hunters, claims of an abnormal amount of paranormal activity in the area.... probably my ex-wife on her broomstick :-X

Wilts certainly seems to have quite a few (venues), a possible aftermath of the defunct Pewsey Vale League - of which very little is known.
Following Tony(Barbelman)'s diligence in publicizing Pete Farrelly's Bar Billiards Quarterlies, on his Witney website, much more is now known.......Here is a more-or-less complete record of the league's activity in its heyday of the early 1990's:
BBQ3 - Oct 1991 County Championships were played in 3 divisions: Wiltshire were relegated from Div 2 with this team: P.Wallace, J.Webb, P.Jury, M.Leveridge, D.Hussey, G.Phillips, A.Brown. BBQ4 - Jan 1992 NBBA Team Championships were played at Harwell: Rose & Crown Wilts team: J.Webb, D.Hussey, P.Wallace, A.Brown, G.Phillips. BBQ6 - July 1992 AE Indivs in June - Wilts were represented again. County Secretaries were listed, including the following: Wiltshire - D.Stillman, 8 New Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire BBQ7 - Oct 1992 Somerset won promotion to Div2 of the County championships ahead of Wilts and S.Yorks National Off-the-Spot at Harwell: "Always played previously in pubs and clubs, but now completely staged by the AEBBA, a playoff was organised involving the last 2 from each county. Six groups of four, with the winner of each group going through to return and play in November, plus two more from a qualifying playoff on the day. Wilts were again represented. BBQ8 - Jan 1993 All-England Team Champs in Harwell (Nov 1992): Rose & Crown represented Wiltshire AE Off-spot singles also held in Nov: P.Jury represented Wilts, National over50s in Harwell: Wilts sent along some competitors. BBQ10 - July 1993 All-England Indivs held at Harwell in June, Wilts were represented . Local news: Pewsey Vale league (Wilts)……team honours: Antelope A, Upavon; Rose & Crown B, Worton; Red Lion, Bulbage; The Barge, Honeystreet; New Inn (Marden) BBQ12 - Jan 1994 Antelope, Upavon (Wilts) once again entered the National Team Championships BBQ14 - July 1994 Melvin Leveridge of Wiltshire entered the All-England Singles. Local news: Pewsey Vale league (Wilts) still going: the honours go to Rose & Crown Worton (league and cup double); Antelope (Upavon) and New Inn (Marden) BBQ15 - Oct 1994 The County Championships were held in September with Wilts finishing bottom of Div 2. Div 3 was cancelled (Cambs being the only attendees were awarded the title and promotion by default.) Jury and Leveridge of Wilts took part in the National Off-the-Spot Singles at Berks in Oct. BBQ16 - Jan 1995 No 'minor counties' took part this time in the National Team Championships.
An internet search on the venues mentioned in the aforementioned chronicle has revealed the following: Antelope, Upavon, Wilts - on AEBBA map Rose & Crown, Worton, Wilts – pool table only Red Lion, Bulbage, Wilts - demolished Barge, Honeystreet, Wilts - on AEBBA map New Inn, Marden, Wilts – now ‘foody’
