Vikings 3 Lamb & Flag 3
Mike Jones 16670 - 750 Martin Friend Lewis Stratford 3030 - 8950 Tony Willis Maxi McDonnell 8780 - 220 Steve Walker Mike 1780 - 5540 Turbo Lewis 14490 - 800 Tony Maxi 4530 - 6410 Steve
Excellent games from Mike and Lewis on a nice table. All games went with the break but only the first was won from the break when Mike went off with 10k+... Entertaining evening with Barca on the telly, an ambulance called for a lad who was bleeding from an unfortunate place and the dart teams nearly coming to blows - such rough people play darts... ;D ::)
cheers Tony

Kennington SC 5-1 Red Lion
Mark Trafford 21,590 - 0 Jon Bamsey Keith Hollis 2730 - 3500 Colin Winstone Sid Ponting 6400 - 5110 Ian Moss Mark Trafford 8160 - 5610 Jon Bamsey Keith Hollis 4900 - 3480 Colin Winstone Sid Ponting 6690 - 2490 Ian Moss
Run-out by me in the first game :o Our second game, we both had chances, but i managed to be on the table at the end to win. Keith v Colin was a couple of scrappy games, honours even over the games. Sid missed early in his break game, Ian had a 4k+ break, then Sid came back with a great 5k break at the end to win the first. Ian pegged his opener and Sid got another near 5k break.
Very disappointing end to the evening when comments were made like... "We have no chance of winning the league when we have to come away and play on bent tables like here and the Royal Oak" "Maybe we should change ours to be bent like the rest of them as we lose too many points at home"
Well lets see if the FACTS warrant comments like that.....
Before last night, both teams had played 7 matches at home..... Kennington have scored 28pts, Red Lion have scored 27pts! That's hardly the massive home advantage the comments have been implying, considering we have actually LOST a game at home and the Red Lion have not :o
Still, when i have been out of form and can run a bent table out with over 21k, will be looking forward to seeing what score i can get on a non-bent table........ :-/

[/size] Must have been all that practice in Bournemouth that fired me into action to claim our two points. Very quiet here compared to the Vikings & Kennington.
