What odds do you give on Damian Coates to win the plate?
Also will the addition if in match betting be available this year? 😊

No odds for Plate winner I'm afraid. There is probably no point!

You should see the whole thing!! There's more than 30 runners!
But actually, on bets taken there is less than 100% coverage - I'm like an ATM!

Yeah I spotted that......offering odds for a dozen serious runners you need the favourite to be odds on or at least Evens. If as you say there are thirty runners then maybe you could offer 33/1 Bar to attract some easy money staked on the no-hopers. All a question of balancing the books ! ;)

The book is now closed anyway as the draw has been done.
The draw is then kept secret until the day (only Simon and Jason know it) where players find out on arrival.
As for Honest Cloughie - the bets that have been placed has given me a total book of only 74%. Indeed, there are four potential winners (three of whom you would say have very strong claims and one a little less so) where, if they prevail, I'm in big trouble!! I will need to let Mrs C know that the holiday is in serious jeopardy!! Haha!

With the Favourite Simon Coleman winning this event it was a bit of a sore one for Honest Cloughie.
All winners have been paid out (congratulations to you) and I am now only awaiting one outstanding payment.
See you next year if I'm not bankrupted first!!
