Dear Bar Billiards National Tournament/Open Organizers.
Please could you see fit to stop drawing me against current and recent past England players in the first round of your fine and extremely well run tournaments.
Yours sincerely

There has to be only one option...... Warrior, you're going to have to be my sponsor! Cash preferable.

Since it is perfectly normal for sportsmen that are global superstars such as Chubbster to have multiple sponsorship deals.... I am quite happy to provide sponsorship of the 70p which will just leave you to find another 49 similarly genorous benefactors to enable you to make your way to Kent! ;D ;D ;D Obviously it is normal for sponsors to have advertising on the clothing worn by the sportsman, so as your first sponsor I would expect you to wear the (much promised) "Warrior rocks my world" t-shirt although details of your other sponsors would be permitted to be shown on that as well. :P Alternatively, you could always just accept the offer of the lift....? ::) :D

What a wonderful idea for how Glenn might raise his sponsorship ! 8-) I'll immediately pledge 70p if he wears this badge: I'll glean together a list of my favourite things and further sponsorship may be forthcoming. Hopefully others will do the same, another 48 should cover an entire shirt !

Almost, I have done the schedule, but when checked had 2 matches on the same table at 10.45. So I have to do it all again !!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!
As a guide, if you are from Kent, Sussex and Surrey you will be on at 10.00 or 10.45 unless you are playing someone from another county then you will be on from 11.30 onwards (except Elsie who is staying over Saturday night)
hope that helps.
Should be able to publish list of start times tomorrow night

I've let Pete know by pm but I thought I would mention it here.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to withdraw from the tournament. I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, and Lorin and I am sorry that I won't be able to play you. Also, pete like I said, I'm so sorry I left it this late.

I can sense the anticipation already.
Frankly, I just can't wait to see his face - he's going to be so excited.
Like a wee boy on Christmas Day.
Yes, that's right! When Milko discovers that John Smiths is £2.40 a pint!!

That's the last time I use humour with Mr S! Bloody 18k in the first and 15k in the second has taught me a valuable lesson! ;-) Just be grateful that he took it easy on you Lorin as he had only had a couple of pints of John Smiths by the time he played you.... ;) Terrific day at the Suburban Club with plenty of exciting games.... 8-) This was the quarter-final line up.... Keith Sheard (22k) beat Nigel Senior (20k) in a tremendous game Mark James beat Martin Smith Paul Sainsbury beat Kevin Tunstall Phil Collins beat Ian Lelliott Semi-Finals Keith beat Mark.... Mark unfortunately taking a peg out on a split at just under 16k chasing Keith's 19.6k play-out Paul beat Phil (Sorry, I was scoring Keith v Mark so don't know what happened in this game) Final Paul beat Keith thanks to an 11k opener in the second game after Keith had won the first leg 7.7k to 5k..... congratulations to Paul on his victory and for becoming the first player to successfully defend the Kent Classic from one year to the next. :) Martin Cole won the Plate Competition beating Geoff Powell by about 3k in an exciting Final..... with Simon Coleman and Colin Martin the Plate Semi-Finalists. Keith Sheard won the High Break Award for his 22k play-out against Nigel.... Mark Brewster won the highest Kent break with a 20k plus break.... Curt Driver was the furthest Kent player (last 16), Sandra Hall received the highest ladies break award as Colleen Park won the award for furthest lady by reaching the last 32. :-* Venue was excellent and very welcoming, bar and food prices were very reasonable and there was plenty of room to run the event. Many thanks to Pete Sainsbury for his hard work running this great competition and all of the other people involved in organising and running the event. :D

I would like to congratulate Paul on winning this for the second year running and for beating me in the final. Thoroughly deserved after brilliant wins over Ernie Jordan, Simon Coleman, Curt Driver, Kevin Tunstall, Phil Collins and myself. He told me afterwards that he had hardly missed a shot all day.
Well done to Pete on running the tournament and to the bar staff who kept me topped up with my John Smith's although they did make me panic when they told me that they were running out with 3hrs still to go!
On a personal note I was pleased to reach my first Kent Open final but obviously disappointed not to win it but after completely losing the plot in my first round match against Neale I must count myself lucky to have made it to the final. May I thank my mate Dave Ingram who again marked most of my matches, much appreciated Dave.
Keith
