Royal Oak 4-2 Kennington SC Brian 2740 - 2140 Mark Terry 3830 - 3820 Keith Thomas 1970 - 2880 Ian Brian 1570 - 6530 Mark Terry 5750 - 2600 Keith Thomas 3700 - 2260 Ian Table playing trickier than normal, but most likely cause was the door being left open next to the table! Terry winning the 2nd with last ball in 200 after beefy losing a near 2k break with less than a minute left, although this was the only game which went 20 seconds longer than all the rest, so a little harsh to lose! Opens the league up a bit..... Still not heard from Bletch B about our match and have less than 2 weeks before we go away....

Bad luck Mark but as you say it opens the league up....
I'll ring Roy again and get him moving on it (I have to play Ian too before you go)

Jon Bamsey 15,000 break exactly! Well, we got stuffed! Very much a home table last night and maybe I was a bit grumpy, but I always look forward to playing this fixture as it makes a change to play on a level playing field, but it was slow and whippy with dirty balls and pockets and break was difficult to sus. Very disappointing but the Lion played it well, deserved their victory and would probably got the same result if the table had been prepared, to be honest. Tony

Another good win for the Plough to keep them in touch with the leaders although time may be against them. Jenny Parsons was top scorer and has only lost two this summer.

Jon B 31,850 in one evening ..... I reckon he deserves an heraldic title, something like "The Lion Of Cassington".
