Excellent win for bottom of the group Masons against the section leaders. Good away wins wins for Ian Moss (6620) and Jon Bamsey (a superb 13140 again) and Debbie taking two games for the Masons against Bob Allsworth. Stacky maintained his status as Jon's nemesis in the first (but suffered for it later!) and Martin Ball won a crucial game against Ian in the fifth.

Kennington assured themselves of a place in the Final with this excellent win against the Plough. I'll leave Mark to flesh out the details if he wishes but I believe that after scraping the first, Plough could have gone 2-0 up if Kevin Bull had not lost a break on second against Mark T. Kennington then got their act together in their usual, excellent way to take the next four with relative ease.

Kevin lost his opening break of 1800 which could have made the difference between winning and losing the game! Although Ian did lose a break at the end of his first game while attempting to tap up! Table played a bit tricky to start with (much different to Monday night where you couldn't miss!), but was all there once you knew what was happening!

There's definitely something regal about Jon's play.
