Laughing Fish 3 CKRBL 2
Henry Brooks 8750 - 850 Peter Edwards Pete started well but then pegged his opening break, Henry took a few turns to get going but there was no stopping him once he got the balls back as he knocked in breaks of 5k and 3k+. Well played Henry, welcome back! ;D 1-0 :(
Andy Brooks 1330 - 1780 Jenny Edwards A good win for Jenny against the break with some excellent shots proving enough to keep Andy at arms length. 1-1 ;D
Les Whiteman 610 - 6010 BB Warrior I managed to get a reasonable start then got the balls back to knock in another 3k+ break. Les had very little luck, combining some excellent 100 shots off the cushions with a few unfortunate pegs. 1-2 ;)
Ray Carpenter 2140 - 1930 Derek Taylor A very close match with Ray leading for most of the game and Derek coming back strongly at the end, needing the 200 hole to win he just missed and Ray made no mistake sinking the last ball in the 100 hole to level the game. 2-2 :(
Keith Fantom 1640 - 370 Ted Stringer Ted missed his opening break and Keith managed to get the balls back and knock in about 800. After that, the game never really got going with the balls either grouped around the middle of the table or attracted to the pegs! 3-2 :-X
Well played the Fish, a good evening with lots of delicious pasta and french bread - enough for plenty of seconds! ;) ;D

BREWERS RETAIN THE OFF THE SPOT CUP!!!!
Richard Todd 720 Peter Hall 1700 A nervous opening match with Peter staying just in front the whole game. 0-1 :D
Dave Todd 2520 Richard Jeffrey 1280 Ole Dave played well I played crap got the break back to win it but promptly missed both balls rolling over pockets.. 1-1 :D
Dave Knight 1130 Andy Farmer Wright 2090 Again a tense one with Andy doing enough to win and retain the top spot. 1-2 :D :D
Ric Bithell 2650 Kevin Hall 2180 Again a tense match Kev missed several chances to win the match but Ric stayed strong to sink the last to take us to the decider. 2-2 :D >:( >:(
Roger Munn 570 Adam Bateup 3960 Young Adam played superbly all through the last match, notching up the nights highest score, Roger found several pegs just as he seemed to get into rhythm. 2-3 :D :D :D
A good, if nervy win for the Brewers, Knowing that CKRBL were breathing down our necks for the title. Again unfortunately we were unlucky to be playing an important match whilst the bloody Toads lot were playing as well, the almost continual clanking of the discs being thrown was of putting enough, never mind that we all seemed to be invisible to them, with several coming close to a poke in the eye for perpetually walking into the the players taking their shots. >:( >:( >:(
Again the game played in good spirits despite the toads players, table was better than when we played it last time ;) and deceptively quick, good spread of sarnies (if you like cheese) ::) and a brilliant sing song at the end from the Brewers lot lead by young master Bateup. :P :o :D ;D
Commiserations to the Kleiners :'(who I think needed a big 5-0 against the giggling kippers to turn us over. Huge well dones to my own lads for retaining the cup and with Andy wining as well I think the big boy retains the players top spot as well. ;) :D ;D ;D Well done all round. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
