Just heard that Northants B managed to get another 3-2 win tonight away at Oxford.
This, coupled with a 3-2 home win gives them a great result.
Well done to Jason Dunkley and his team from all of the Northants League!!!

Witney A 4 Eynsham 1 (overall Witney A 8 Eynsham 2)WITNEY A | | | EYNSHAM | | | *Tony Willis | 14,030 | W | Geoff Powell | 510 | L | Bill Keenan | 1,860 | W | *Maxi McDonnell | 1,110 | L | Roger Bowen | 11,910 | W | *Bob Allsworth | 1,580 | L | *Jon Bamsey | 18,150 | W | Ian Moss | 0 | L | Terry Cook | 4,810 | L | *Micky Jones | 6,750 | W | | | 4 | | | 1 |
Very pleasing win overall against high quality opponents. I took the first with a scratchy 14K and then Bill Keenan took a low scoring second to secure the victory overall. Jon Bamsey had the highest break with 12,530 and Mick Jones took the consolation point for Eynsham with a good performance against Terry Cook on last. Tony

2nd Leg
Reading D 0-5 Oxford A
C Jolly 1800 - 2320 S Sheard C Seymour 1060 - 2140 A Oliver D Richards 1220 - 1540 K Godfrey T Graham 1220 - 1460 M Trafford D Lawton 1390 - 1750 S Florey
Oxford A win 9-1
Interesting table that at the Hopleaf! No player got past the first split shot on their opening break and only Alan Oliver managed to get the break back !
We were wondering if this could be some kind of record, winning 5-0 and only scoring 9,210 - 6,690 ? A winning margin of only 2,520 ?

Northants 'A' will take a narrow lead to Wallingford on the 11th May following their fortunate 3-2 victory in the home leg against Wallingford 'B'. Well played to Northants A who lost 3-2 to Wallingford B last night making it 5-5 overall, they scored very well and won by about 7K on aggregate. An excellent nights play, scores will follow.
