We've given the red bulls some hints on how to play the Dun Table, we shall see if they take it on board and rise up the table, they have uptil now under performed this year but stand by for next year, let the posturing commence

No problem but I need to re measure where those white mushrooms go. We have that crucial 0.5 point we got in the match against the Big Bulls, remind me again who it was against

Yeah, it's a bit late for Gandalf to start showing concern for his poor stablemates now - especially after taking 10 of the available 12 points against them !

good luck to all the combatants tonight in the final game, wish I was still playing, looking forward to the Eastbourne v Crawley on 2nd sept.
The team will comprise the big bulls and red bulls players who are all registered in Eastbourne this season, but sadly next season, Me, Phil and Bob wont be.
I understand that there will be people still playing friendlies in Eastbourne during the winter but they wont be affiliated, something for tommo and I to discuss in due course.

oh,so no eastbourne! thanks! anyway, dunhorse against bull 'b' paul played myself, won by 1540 to my paltry 930, too many attempts at high scoring shots! spud and tony tried to lose to each other, unluckily for spud,he won 720 to tony's 340! ian and mick had a sensible game, ian edging it with a 1210 to micks 920! 2nd half chris found his game bit more, 2350 to pauls 1400, tony found his too, 1310 to spuds 610, and unluckily for mick, knocked black when needing 200 to win last game so 1670 to ian and b/p for mick, great night with dunhorse guys, 4-2 to them! well played. even taught them break after the game to help out next week!!!!

Well the result was a bit academic with the Big Bulls already home and hosed back in their stables, but we had a good night with the Stout (-hearted) lads full of ambitious shots, and plenty of laughs. Clive 1480, Sam 1620 (I missed a chance to win with the 200, but Sam must have spilled at least 1000pts during the course of the game and it would have been a travesty if he had lost)Tony 3180, Steve 1720 (Tony getting the fram he needed to win the Best Performance)Mick 3030 (incl.brks of 1030 & 1040) Iain 1020 Clive 2650 (incl.1090brk without a single double-50) Sam 1250 (fantastic last-ball 400 finish off the top cush from Sam - Daveuk1 would have been proud)Tony 3500, Steve 1760 (magnificent 1450brk from Steve at the end in the limited opportunity that Tony gave him)Mick 2290 Iain 1750 (some nice shots fron Iain, judging the pace of the table well).Result: Windmill GG 5, YO Stout House 1 With the Dun Horse A winning 4-2 against the Bull B, all of our team for next Tues have had a good run out tonight, and we look forward to next Tuesday's Interleague challenge at the Dun Horse. Bring it on !

A slight re-vamp of the website of our sister league, Billingshurst, has necessitated the removal of the page on the old Crawley league which disbanded at the end of the 1980's........this has now been transferred to the Horsham site and combined with "Crawley 4-Pin" under a bespoke "Crawley page". As is always the case when 'juggling' is involved, the changes may take a while to come through, so please be patient ! Don't think the new links are working quite properly yet, so here is a special link to the Crawley page in the meantime: docs.google.com/document/d/130QHugGHJ6BOZ4Bcgigubxjd5zctimQ6Y0ZG1RqC0Wc/pub

Yes I can hardly believe we've finished the second season and yet the novelty doesn't seem to have worn off at all with anyone !
By my own standards I've had a poor season, just breaking even. Mr Mike reckons I have played just as well as before, it's just that everyone else's standard has doubled !!
We would certainly be looking to expand again next year and it would be good too to get some extra local interest going.

Thanks to The Bull B lads for a great night. Good play from Chris in the 4th & was always in front, I made a late break to overtake Mick and leave him needing the 200 for the win. Well done to The Bull A on winning the title with Windmill GG a very close runner up. Good to see Tony taking the best performance & congratulations to Phil Osbourne on his impressive scores. Thanks to Clive again for organising the comp & look forward to next Tuesday.
