Hi folks Just incase you didn't know, the date for next years 4-pin Open has been set as 21st March 2015. Once again it will be held at the Grover and Allen, Wetherspoons in Sudbury Suffolk. CO10 1RF. The Open will run along the same lines as last year, with the format being entries split into groups to start with, top two from each group progressing to the main competition while the remainder go into the plate Once again local company SPECFLUE will be sponsoring the EA Open leaving us in the happy situation of using the day to raise money for The Suffolk Family Carers. While we realise that in certain places the Grover and Allen was a little compact the SBBA still feel this is the best venue available to us, we don't want to hide away in a Social Club, but rather play in the open where the general public can watch. If you interested in playing please leave your name below. Entries will, as always be on a first come fort served basis The AEEBBA have been forwarded a copy of the entry form and hopefully it will be available to download from the web site within the next couple of days. It is also available from the SBBA mini site at Suffolk Bar Billiards Association as well as from the link on this page. Please ignore the typing errror, the closing date in the 28th February 2015, we will get this amended asap. Chris Cass has asked if every entrant can fill in a separate entry form, the only reason for this is that it will make his job of sending out programmes in advance a lot easier, I know this year he spent quite a few hours trying to track address's of people so he could post programmes to individuals. We look forward to seeing you all in Suffolk next year for a fun day of bar billiards. Dave

btw I seem to remember that you won the Plate last year, so in keeping with the previous EA opens I believe that you and Nigel will get free entry next year as winners, you can of course donate your entry fee to charity if you wish or just put it in my beer fund

Entry form is on the way but it's only for one of us this year as the other has to look after the puppy. Happy New Year to all in East Anglia.

hmm does that mean you will be staying the night and having a drink or returning home to take over the puppy duties?
And happy New Year to you, your family and friends and everyone else down South

returning home to take over the puppy duties? Yeh, he'll only fret otherwise. Mind you, if we have snow in March like two years ago it may have to be a Premier Inn job.
