Nice anticipated home win tonight, table was in the corner and when placed on its markers there was a 3 inch roll to the right, did our best to rectify before our guests arrived, not perfect but at least we tried.
Nice evening with our happy hiker opponents and a brilliant chilli and rice from Dave too

.... just a shame that a couple of incidents occurred that really spoilt the entire evening. Couldn't agree more, and they do not reflect "Business as usual" at the Fish by any means!

Albion 4-1 Cock 'n' Balls Lana 100 - 4040 Derek** **Chelle 6270 - 2660 Ben (+900) Nige 10,030 - 4130 Mick** (+900) **Jack 4110 - 2650 Huw Silent 5780 - 2010 Jan** (+900) Superb final ever match at the Albion, thanks to our opponents entering into the spirit of the night. The undoubted highlight on the table was Jack's highest ever break of 1990, leading to his highest ever score of 4110 He took full advantage of Huw 4 timing and saved the captain the pressure of a decider There was plenty of banter, although unusually it was mostly with the regulars...with Daphne taking plenty of stick from Silent but giving plenty back There were also some sights never to be forgotten, most of which couldn't be spoken about here except the guy with the biggest shoes I have ever seen The pattern on them looked like a tiger, dear oh dear Also, the guy who put a pound down on the table whilst I was playing to book the next game on the table..............should have played winner stays on It was quite emotional afterwards but we were proud to have played the last game there and would like to thank Karen and Mick for looking after us so well in the Summer League and now with our foray into the Lewes League, ending appropriately with our biggest ever win and Jack's own personal records It was just a shame that Lana couldn't have broken her duck for the season to put the icing on the cake. A real shame that after so many years the pub will be lost completely
