Plough Plumpton 2-3 Albion Hollingbury Geoff 3210 - 1450 Lana** - Lana very unfortunate to knock the black peg over when going for a tough ball. She had about 1200 at the time so would have been pretty close, Geoff making sure late on **Fenella 720 - 9180 Nigel - not really the draw Fenella was hoping for She started off well but when Nigel got them back (a second time!!) it was all over Chase 5650 (+700) - 720 Jack** - JB knocked over the black peg after the ball flew off the back cushion but not sure it would have made a difference in this one as Chase played a solid leg to give the home team the lead **Ros 4020 (+700) - 5950 Michelle - terrific leg with plenty of concern in the away team ranks that against the break and giving away a start to Ros would prove too much. No concern required as although Ros stretched the lead out to 1800 and Chelle lost a decent break she finished off with a fine 4k break for an excellent win John b/p (+700) - 10,140 Matt** - Silent managed to improve his poor performances in deciders winning with two decent breaks as John struggled to get the break when he did get the balls back Excellent win for the away team, against great people in the opposition making for a very enjoyable evening. Made it there and back safely and directly in absolutely atrocious conditions.....well done the driver and the team

Interesting league table with the Black horse , Glynde and Plough all with a chance of finishing top when only 2 points behind and a game in hand Don't get too excited Gandalf.... it isn't even the half-way point of the competition for most of the teams! It is really good though that it is so close with plenty of teams in the mix this year.
