I spoke to Simon this week he hasn't got 5 players yet & is still trying, I'm not sure he'll make it for this season.

Roffey CC ( Cricket Club ex Dun Horse A ) Any tips on how to reach/park at your new venue, Ian ? Do we squeeze our cars down that narrow signposted track (easy to miss !) - or is it best to park in Bostock Avenue ? Cheers, tommo

Cheers, tommo Hi Tommo Don't go down the signposted track unless you are in a 4x4, as grounded my car there. We don't know exactly the best places to park during our Winter League dates but yes Bostock Avenue is good and has access straight onto the grounds but suggest only good idea when reasonably dry as walking on grass, and maybe take a torch if dark, used by cricketers i gather. I haven't checked the road opposite, Leechpool Lane, but seems probable, also there maybe places on the main road, Crawley Road. Sorry I can't be more precise as going the summer will not be a good example of winter situation.

Hi Tommo. For those that don't know the Cricket Club is down a track which is directly opposite the sign shop on Crawley Rd. I have driven down the track as do several of the Cricket Club Members, there is a scout hut there as well so it is used. I have found spaces on Crawley rd ok & as Graham says the road opposite could be a possibility, Bostock avenue is only a short walk using the footpath or there is a gate on to the cricket field but wouldn't use it in the winter. Once there it is a lovely area and very peaceful.

Thanks guys, I'm glad I asked. Junkie himself suggested parking in Bostock Avenue but I thought you may have discovered an easier way.
