Horsham Doubles First Round to be played on Tuesday 24th November
Please note the new order of play introduced into the Horsham doubles this season.

Brett Kennedy & Rob Jones v Dave Vizor & Brian Martin - The Bull (9.00pm) - Postponed
Jim Greensted & Dick Dewdney 0 v Richard Jeffrey & Andy Farmer-Wright 2 - Roffey CC (8.00pm)
Derek Taylor & Rob Hall w/o v Gordon Carver & Fabrizio Planta - Roffey CC (9.00pm)
Jim Broderick & John Lear 1 v Keith Potter & Geoff Parsons 2 - Southwater (8.00pm)

• All matches shall be played on neutral tables and shall be the best of three games.
• The first break for games one and two shall be decided by the toss of a coin, with the winner having the choice of break in the first or second.
• Even breaks shall be played in the third game, the first break being decided by the toss of a coin. If the player going first has played out more than half the time, and his opponent’s opening break is still in progress when the bar drops further coins may be inserted. However the time allotted will not excess that of the first player.
• In doubles matches the player who takes the first shot for their pair in the first game shall not take the first shot for their pair in the second game, meaning the order of play shall be A-B-C-D in game one and D-C-B-A in game two. In the event of a third game the players who did not take the break for their pair in the first two games shall take the breaks.
• Players may not practise on the table on the day of the match.
• If a player is unable to play on the date shown can they please contact their opponent at the earlier opportunity and rearrange. Can they also let the Competition Secretary know the details.
• If any player/pair fails to turn up within 30 minutes of the start time of their match having not informed either their opponent or the Competition Secretary beforehand they will be eliminated from the competition unless exceptional circumstances prevailed.
• If possible can you please arrive early/stay late to score the other match played at the venue that night
