Glynde Club 3 - 2 Cock n Balls
Phil Osborne 5200 v 5670 Derek Taylor Colin Southouse 10110 v 650 Mick Kirwan Dave White 2370 v 3860 Richard Wooton Bob Osborne 4380 v 3150 Huw Lincoln Chris Turner 9630 v 1380 Ben Procter
The 1st 4 games somehow going with the break but plenty of chances for both sides, well done to Chris Turner in the decider with both players off early a timely 5.5k halfway through proved decisive in this close fought and entertaining match thanks to the cock for an enjoyable evening with a smashing jerk porn and pasta whatnot from Dave to keep us amused at the interval.

Hikers Rest B 1-4 Laughing Fish K Lana 1220 - 9910 TJ** - Tony made 3k, he then added another 5k later on for a solid win **Matt 16,990 - 0 Dave - I made 7k on my first break with a couple of lucky shots on the way before coming off. Dave had one shot before I ran the rest of the table out for 9,900 with one (or two) lucky shots on the way Dave, as always, supporting his opponent during their break and a gentleman in defeat....thanks Dave Nigel 5770 - 10,370 Ian** - a brilliant first break from Ian of 10,370 hardly a ball out of place. Nige made a rapid 5k+ break when he got the balls back, classy leg **Ross 2800 - 6560 Terry - neither player wanted to win, both coming off early when getting the balls back. Molly eventually getting a 3k break near the end Zoe 1290 - 2830 Colleen** - Both players had plenty of goes, with Colleen always ahead courtesy of some nice play at the top of the table. Zoe did well to get the break back near the end to give herself a chance but couldn't quite manage it We were a little short of firepower this evening but I felt we gave it a good go. There was a lot of stuff going on off the table tonight but hopefully it did not detract from an enjoyable evening. Credit and thanks to our opposition who were very supportive of all players Well done to the Fish on their win

Result from the Lewes website....
Laughing Fish W 3 - 2 Hospital Club
Ray Carpenter 2,750 - 2,390* Peter Payne Joseph Carpenter 0* - 4,520 Mike Reilly Andy Brooks 50 - 5,730* James Bown Darren Newnham 4,450* - 2,390 Tony Smith Henry Brooks 13,140 - 1,650 Stewart Chant
Black pegs for both Joseph and Andy. Joseph played really well and the result wasn't entirely reflective of that. Late breaks for both Darren and H gave the match to the home side. [Henry Brooks]

Well done mate, is that your highest score? Hi Curly, no I have hit more than zero occasionally in the past! But I guess you are probably talking about the "awesome" Silent and I think that it could be a PB for him. I found this on the forum from a couple of years ago in a Worthing Cup match.... Duke of Wellington 4 Smugglers 1 @ Cellar Bar Matthew Knight 16,590* - 340 Chris Lucas An opening break of 7,260 followed by two other good breaks to give Silent a new personal best. Very well played. .... so unless anyone knows of a bigger score from him then well played Matthew.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. To be perfectly honest I have no idea if it is my highest score. I certainly rode my luck during both breaks but for once actually managed to keep going
