Y's 4, GG's 1
Dick 5540, tommo 3830 Moose 8660, Mick 1830 Lloydy 14290, Barry 300 Pete the Fish 7480, Vicky 1610 Shaggy 2900, Franksey 7810
Impressive stuff from the Y's on a Stout House table which played straighter than I've ever known it. 6pts from their 2 matches guarantees the Y's at least qualify for something ! * Many thanks to Baz the landlord for the usual nice spread.
* Cup if GG's beat Bull in last game, Plate if the Bull win.

So, what conclusions to we reach from this on the state of play ?
Roffey CC are already through to the semi-finals, having won both their games in group 4...the winners of Plough v Southwater will qualify for the Plate.
In Group 3, Stout A will be hoping their stablemates can do them a favour, as, if Windmill LW beat the BBs, the Littleworth side will qualify for the Plate or better (the Main in the unlikely result of a 5-0). A win for the BB's would put them top and the A's would scrape through into the Plate.
Likewise in Group 2, Roffey Y seek a favour from the GG's as a Bull win in the last match would mean Bull win the group and the Y's would be in the Plate. Bull can afford to lose 2-3 and still make the Plate, which means the GG's must win 4-1 or 5-0 to deny them and make the Plate.
Group 1 is probably least clear cut of all, with a 3-2 result either way between Roffey H and Limeburners guaranteeing Windmill CC furtherance in the competition. A Roffey H win secures top spot, but what if the Limeburners win and all three teams finish level on 2pts ? The CC's would remain top, but 3-2 would be no good to the Limeburners, whereas 5-0 would eliminate the H's. A 4-1 would have the Comps Sec reaching for the calculator as the group 2nd and 3rd places would be decided on aggregate scores...
