Albion A 1-4 Albion C M.Knight 7080 - 10,160 G.Tully** - Jim had wound me up and said that Grant would be working so Steve would be playing. After Grant had knocked in 10k in 12 minutes I wished he had been working After the first couple of minutes Grant never looked like missing, he touched on the 10, I was all over the place to start with but settled down to play the rest of the time out with my score **J.Oakley 6790 - 3420 G.Jukes - Joe was off on 3.5k after looking pretty good but he missed both balls on a 50/20 split. Neither player could get the break back but when Geoff did he pegged a split shot, got them back again but failed to capitalise a second time. Joe got them back late on and ran the rest of the time out H 0 - 20,010 D.Ingram** - Dave made an excellent 10k I am reliably informed (well by the post below) that it was 12k and touch H missed a ball near the 20 pocket, and that was that....no messing from Dave as he played out the rest of the time for a high score and a big win. I did notice that there were no "very lucky" 200 shots tonight **R.Cunningham 2940 - 12,990 J.Millward - Rick was off on 2.5k after hitting a split thick and missing both balls. Jim got them straight back and stayed on to score enough and secure the victory. I have decided to call the break 'interesting'...... OK now who is left.....???? Oh hang on the current Brighton Mens Singles Champion....nice and easy one to finish with M.Spier 4150 - 13,660 M.James** - Mark made a very solid 10k and touch, there was one "Ingram" fluke along the way with the ball gently dropping in the 100 hole to give Mark the break back. Mal had a stab at the chase but to no avail Entertaining night as always, plenty of banter (MOST of it friendly) and bar billiards chat. We had no chance in any of their three break games and oh.......one of the players received a 'warning' for throwing a ball at the opposition whilst actually on a break..... That only leaves one match left against the Cs this season.......can't wait

Fantastic report as always from our Silent friend.... just a couple of quick points to make:- H 0 - 20,010 D.Ingram** - Dave made an excellent 10k and touch. H missed a ball near the 20 pocket, and that was that....no messing from Dave as he played out the rest of the time for a high score and a big win. I did notice that there were no "very lucky" 200 shots tonight It was actually 12k and touch from me. one of the players received a 'warning' for throwing a ball at the opposition whilst actually on a break..... Luckily my ankle had enough time to recover from the "brutal assault" that it received during the first game before my own match. Great night as always.
