Congratulations to Kev and his Worthing team on winning the Inter-League title today. It was a competitive day with some of the tables proving a tough but perfectly playable challenge. Thanks to everyone who makes these days possible especially Jean who puts an enormous amount of work in on the four days that the tournaments are held. The £185 that Michelle cajoled people to contribute to the raffle must be an all time record Hope everyone enjoyed the day, here are the final positions:- Team | P | W | L | Score | Pts |

Worthing | 5 | 5 | 0 | 202,050 | 23 | Brighton | 5 | 4 | 1 | 168,000 | 20 | Redhill | 5 | 3 | 2 | 259,000 | 20 | Tunbridge Wells | 5 | 2 | 3 | 150,830 | 18 | Littlehampton | 5 | 1 | 4 | 134,020 | 14 | Hastings | 5 | 0 | 5 | 125,970 | 10 |

Very well done to Martin Cole who topped the averages in the A Inter-League, he won 5 out of 5 legs pipping the England Captain Curt Driver and World Champion Paul Sainsbury to the top spot. Also winning 5 legs out of 5 was John Slee, it was a hopeless effort on my part not to mention him at the presentation afterwards John please accept my apologies for the oversight. If John doesn't read the forum, can someone please pass on my apologies..... Gareth Lloyd had the highest break of the day with an all time Inter-League record of 21,890 well done Gareth Here are the rankings:- | Code | Player | Team | P | W | L | Brks | Score | Ave |

Congratulations to Worthing on their well deserved win yesterday and I would echo Matthew's words of thanks to everyone involved in organising and running these events, espcially Jean who puts in hours and hours of work every year to enable us to enjoy the One Day Competitions. A slight correction to the final tables as I think Matthew has got the scores for Brighton & Redhill the wrong way round according to the files that Jean sent me last night.... Pos | Teams | P | W | D | L | Total Score | Average | Points |
---|
| | | | | | | | | 1 | Worthing | 5 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 202,050 | 5,773 | 23 | 2 | Redhill | 5 | 4 | 0 | 1 | 168,000 | 4,800 | 20 | 3 | Brighton | 5 | 3 | 0 | 2 | 259,000 | 7,400 | 20 | 4 | Tunbridge Wells | 5 | 2 | 0 | 3 | 150,830 | 4,309 | 18 | 5 | Littlehampton | 5 | 1 | 0 | 4 | 134,020 | 3,829 | 14 | 6 | Hastings | 5 | 0 | 0 | 5 | 125,970 | 3,599 | 10 | | | | | | | | | |
A big well done also to Gareth Lloyd who made the highest recorded break in the history of the One Day Inter League competitions with 21,890, beating his own previous record of 20,590 from the days when the Division 1 competition was played over 2 legs. Jim Millward (20,440) is the only other player to have made a 20k break in the One Day Competitions.
