Stout House F BFZ Limeburners 5
Dave Simmons 500 Rick Dewdney 16990 Lee Tugwell 1650 Bill Hammond 2030 Scott Hope 850 Brian Goodchild 5630 Colin Bolton 2660 Mark Davies 4460 Grant Hope 1820 Chip Sawyer 8290
Game 1: Dude off early with 1k, followed up with 15k7. Dave watched.... Game 2: close game, Billy made safe after the bar, solid game for Lee. Game 3: Steady game for Boycie, nothing going for Scott. Game 4: Slow start, Colin 1k up midway, Mark got going in closing stages. Game 5: Chip kicked off with 7k. Too late for Grant to save the BFZ.
Fun evening despite our side of the scoreline.. ....rounded off with a spread of Barry's Gourmet sandwiches and the obligatory bowl of Billy's Onions.

I have been told by many people that I only do a Proboard report when the Mighty A Team have been VERY MIGHTY and they are absolutely correct in this assumption
For the second time this season Roffey SSC have lost to the A Team
Pete Fisher 2,550 Barry Lawson 1,580 The only word to describe this game is "Scrappy"
Dick 1,220 Yours Truly 6,690 After two visits I had scored over 5k, after that I just made sure that there was no way back for Dick
Moose 3,070 Chelsea 5,040 A close game at the start but a good 2.5k break midway by Chelsea made it difficult for the Moose
Twig 1,020 Tony 3,320 Both players had problems with the one-up shot, Tony either hit a peg or left them both short, Twig when going well managed to pot the break four times (SHAME)
Foxy 5,450 Yours Truly (Again) 4,260 Only three breaks in this game 1.6k Foxy's opening break, my break, and finally a cautious break of 3.8k by Foxy to claim the point
Special Thanks for the food, cream cakes, sandwiches, chicken legs (EXCELLENT)

Springbok Club 3 The Blue Ship 2
Gary 5740 James 1020 James struggled to find the break allowing his opponent in a break of 3K followed by another just short of 2K done the business for Gary, though James did start getting back into the game as time ran out.
Robin 5610 Ding 850 It has to be said that Ding was not on her usual steady form, she kept finding the wood, but improved once her cue had received another turn by Steve. Robin ever being the gent took full advantage of his table time and scored a couple of 2Ks to secure the point.
Trevor 1630 Simon 3040 Simon flew out of the blocks with a decent 2K and though I got the break back I missed the split, hit the peg and that was that. Simon then slowed allowing me an opportunity to build up some points but it was a struggle.
Bill 3970 Mick 3770 The game of the night, both players were in great form. Mick took the early lead with a couple of grand, Bill fought back to get within touching distance. Mick again pulled away, but Bill stuck to the task and put together a finishing break with a last ball 100 to ensure Springbok got the point.
Trevor 2640 Steve 3180 Another loss for me, but in fairness it was a decent enough game and it was almost a reverse. Steve was always in front, though I had the chances and missed them to get ahead. We both put decent scores together and had the 3 ball split worked out at the end I could have easily stolen the game. However I missed and with the remaining balls Steve put more distance between us.
A smashing night the lovely people from the Blue hip are always friendly and accommodating. Thanks
