Nice friendly night and many thanks to Pete S and club for the hospitality and the lovely supper.

Many congratulations to Didcot Conservative Club on winning the Oxon County championship last night at the Oracle Snooker Club. They beat the Lamb & Flag Hailey by 4-1 and were just too good for us on the night. I wish them the very best in the main Championship in October. Thanks to the club for some very nice food and to Mark Trafford for presenting the magnificent trophies. Personally I think buying trophies with "loser" engraved on them is a bit much.....

Congratulations to Didcot CC in winning this for the 2nd year and good luck in trying to retain the AE title.
I am sure the "loser" trophies had Runner-Up on them....?
