GOLDEN JUBILEE
As you know the Golden Jubilee celebrations are due to take place on Saturday 19th November at Springbok Club, which is not very far away
To date I have had a lot of I MIGHT come, and I MAY wish to play, but it is the time when I need to know those that WILL come and DO wish to play
Then I can let Springbok Club have some idea of possible numbers so that enough food and beer is available for our consumption
Also I understand that Dick Cable is organising a minibus from Roffey Club via Horsham and Billingshurst, and there are possibly still seats available
Best Wishes

Hi Everybody
As most of you know that this year is our 50th year of playing Bar Billiards as a league
Hall and Woodhouse brewery have kindly donated £250 towards a celebration and my intention is to spend every penny of it
It has been decided that this celebration will take place at Springbok Club, Alfold, on Saturday 19th November starting at about 3.00pm, hot food will be provided
This celebration is open to existing players, former players, and also players from other leagues
The most important thing is to let me know numbers of who wishes to attend and also who wishes to play in any light hearted matches
Hopefully there will be enough players to form four teams, then there will be Semi Finals, A Final, and a Third Place Play Off match
Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals will be awarded to these players
Teams, drawn out of a hat will consist of a maximum of 7 players with maybe a reserve or two, and will include both current and former players, there will be a handicap of a maximum opening break of 2,000 points
If the number, maximum of 40 wishing to play is over subscribed, preference will be given to those BHBBL players, whether former or current who have played in the league for the most number of years
A poster has been designed by Trevor Goacher which explains everything, a copy of which is attached
Please display this poster in your venue and also notify any former player that you may know about this exciting pissup, sorry event
The More the Merrier as they say
Best Wishes
