The new rules for the pairs is as follows:
Changing one player
Changing one player they come in and replace the player coming out
Changing Two players
If you are changing two players and they are in each half of the draw the opposing captain shuffles the card and draws them out, if they are in the same pair the opposing captain shuffles and draws out so it determines who has the break
Changing Three players
If you are changing three players the opposing captain will shuffle all three cards and redraw and whatever order they come out in is final.
This will depend if the player staying in is in the first or second pair if they are in the first pair the first drawn will slot in and replace that person’s position who has been dropped in the first pair, if they are in the second pair the first two drawn become the first pair you cannot change the order so certain players have the break
Changing Four players
If you are changing all four players the opposing captain shuffles and redraws whatever order they come out is final, you cannot change the order so certain players have the break
A rule sheet will be sent out with fixtures.

This is not right if you are changing 2 players & as long they are not playing together then captain has the choice to put them where they choose , as it was last season . If teams are changing 2 or more & are putting players together then draw should be made . This rule about bringing in more than 2 changes should never have been allowed to go through , we have lost 1 team this season so it would have been great if Donnington could have 2 sides .

There is nothing the committee can do about it if someone has proposed it, had a seconder and then the members voted for it! Just because you don't agree with it, you have to accept it. I personally don't like the fact you can change players at all but these are the rules the AGM voted in, so we just have to accept it.

Understand what your saying hopefully we can get it thrown out next year ,but I'm saying swapping 2 players should be same as last year as long as they don't play together. I don't remember rule for the change by AGM being discussed at committee meeting .
