A good result for the home team who took their chances well on the night, the table is finally starting to settle down and play well although it was rather cramped in the room with two matches going on, but nice atmosphere and plenty of laughs.
World Champion - 2014 Oxon Open Winner - 2014 AEBBA Mixed Pairs Winner - 2014 (with Colleen Park) Highest Break - 23,930 (Brighton League @ Albion Fishersgate 18/05/2016) Bucks Plate Winner - 2009 & 2010 (The ONLY player to ever "successfully" defend a Plate Competition!)
Very good match at the Albion tonight with high-quality breaks from Nigel 8.9k and then another 10k for good measure, taking full advantage of Kev missing early, Martin who made 8k after Tupps had gone off with his score, and Stuart after an early miss making 8k to give the visitors the win. Well done to them, plenty of friendly banter on a good evening (bar the result of course)
Apologies to Ian for some inconsistency with my drawing tonight, won't happen again
Colin, I do feel that if your team wishes to draw out the order in which they play you should do that amongst yourselves rather than make the opposition captain a party to the draw. It would certainly save the situation that took place in the match tonight, which Ian accepted in good grace but others may not

Nice evening with the A team as mentioned a bit crowded in the room but a great atmosphere, deserved win for us, Jack an excellent game, finishing with playing the table out for his 9880 break, nice spread to finish.
Another great result for the Smugglers A. Special mention should go to Kim Hurley who played out of her skin to win the fourth game and the match. Thanks to the Tarring Club who altered the playing order so that Chris could get away after the first game.
