Swan Nomads 2-3 Albion Fishersgate C
**Neil Higgins 1570 - 430 Michelle Baden Paul Barnett 2830 - 10,000 Nigel Senior** Gary Ridley 2940 - 6840 Matthew Knight** **Tony Burgess 1340 - 3230 Chris Tupper Nick Brown 5250 - 2890 Jean Brackenridge**
Good win for us, a very tricky top which only one person got hold of with Nigel making a brilliant 9850 and touch in the second leg. It was a real scrap for the rest of us.

Smugglers B 2 v 3 Romans C Bob Osborne** 2480 v 11660 Dave Ingram (9730 break)Phil Osborne 570 v 11420 Gareth Lloyd**Colin Southouse 10660 (10660 break) v 6560 Kevin Hall** (Kev had a massive kick when looking good) Ros Appleby**(3050 break) 5050 v 2370 Jim Millward Dave White 930 v 10660 Henry Brooks (7670 break)Everyone had a chance or 2 tonight nice to give the Romans a bit to think about but we were always on the slippery slope to oblivion with the quality of the opposition, still great to be in the same pond as these big fish even if the outcome was BLEAK regs cs

Henty 0 White Hart 'A' 5
Amazing result considering the opposition and the history between the two teams
Chris O 7180 v 8790 Chocie - Chris off on 2k, Stu made 8500 and Chris closed the gap but too late Barry 1690 v 13700 Nipper - Martin gave Barry an early chance but he never took it. Two more good breaks for Martins total Joe O 4290 v 5680 Fitz - Several chances each in this one after Fits lost a decent break James. 2680 v 7840. KT - James was going well until he whipped a split through the peg. I made enough 1st visit Phil O 2130 v 10420 Curt - 10k and touch for Curt but the biggest competition of the night saw Phil win the money, challenging Curt to who cleared the table first when all the balls went up the top
Lovely spread of food as usual

Ted was off early, Jack 3k, Ted replied with 2k Jack played out with 9200 break Kim of early Mal 3.5k and touch, Kim a few goes at the break a black peg and some unusual shots. Steve off early and unable to settle at all, Rick good steady leg to secure the win and inflict the first defeat of the season on the Smugglers A. Dave off early, Steve 2k, Dave levelled Steve another 1k, Dave 3k at end to make sure. Chris off early leaving the balls awkward, both players struggled to clear the table, I eventually got them back at 13 minutes and made sure, still time for Chris to black peg and leave the spot clear so ball right in front of black peg, I missed but Chris in trying to clear it black pegged. A good evening with plenty of banter, home made scotch eggs and chicken bits to finish.
