Windmill GG 2, Windmill CC 3 Johnny 2680, Des 3070 Clive 7390, Steve 3670 Tony v Darrell - w/o Graham 10,230 Chris 3390 Margo 700, Marion 1440 Graham played the perfect game (2 visits) to set the match up nicely at 2-all. The draw had amazingly thrown together the two ladies and it was Marion who won it for her side with some brave play. Good luck to the CC's who have qualified for the later stages. The GG's can now have January off ! Darrell sportingly agreed to take on a young local lad afterwards in a friendly: the first time he'd seen the game let alone played it. Make a note of the name: Aiden Jones. Plays snooker, a natural (made a 2k break) and we're going to sign him on.

Hi Everybody
The Stout House beat Roffey Y 4 - 1
Glyn Owen (Handicap 800) 3,560 Dick Cable 2,150 Not Dick's favourite table. after he missed the break there was only one winner
Gordon Carver (Handicap 1,200) 3,580 Rick Langridge 4,230 A steady game from Rick
John Tidy 3,410 Paul Zewoi (Handicap 1,600) 2,330 Until the end of the game I was unable to get the break back, but I had a cunning plan. Let Paul get the break back which he did, then hit the break short which he did. After that a 2k break won the game
Twig (Handicap 2,500) 7,670 Mick Fairs 1,000 A start of 2.5k and the break when playing Mick Fairs is quite nice. But both players missed early chances, although like the first game once Twiggy started playing there was only one winner
Keith Newman (Handicap 3,000) 6,000 Lee Cable 4,790 A 3k break midway through the match gave Lee the overall lead, but steady play at the end of the game gave Keith a victory
Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year and all that Humbug to you all
Best Wishes
JT
