Smugglers B 3 - 2 Swan Nomads
Phil Osborne** 12290 v 780 Tony Burgess Dave White 3130 v 2910 Paul Barnertt** Colin Southouse 6340 v 5380 Nick Brown** Ros Appleby** 1770 v 2880 Gary Ridley Darren Newnham 1860 v 3110 Neil Higgins
Please to see Phil take advantage of his 1st break in worthing this season, the rest of the night could have gone any way with all the games close with Dave, Ros and Darren unable to choose which end of the cue to use at times
**Phil 3160 - 9200 Jean - Phil off early and never really much chance as Jean played an excellent leg including a break halfway through of 4910
Joe 820 - 11.260 Nigel** - Nige off very early, Joe got them straight back but left his first one-up short as it seemed to roll backwards close to the hole. No chance thereafter as Nige made no mistake second time
Barry 4920 - 2110 Michelle** - Chelle off early, Barry found everyway to come off but did enough for the win
**James 6070 - 6840 Matt - one go each in a good leg. James with an excellent 6k and touch when the balls went awkward. I got them straight back and played out until the bar to give us the win
Bob 8050 - 4690 Tupps** - Chris off early but first to get them back, built decent lead with second break before Bob made a nice 5k, come off but was first to get them back to seal the leg
Excellent result for us on a table we haven't got a great record on. Any luck going went to us
Martin S 14010 v 430 Fitz - a good 10k opener from Martin Geoff J. 540 v 7520. Molly - very scrappy leg, Geoff never got the balls back but Terry made sure on his third visit Ian L. 0 v 10750 Foxy - a couple of breaks for Jim in this one Tony C 5340 v 8580 Chocie - Tony lost his opening bk, Stu made two breaks before TC finished off Mark J 110 v 19290 KT - I opened with 10400 and made another 9k +
Yes, once a King always a King but once a Knight and happy
Andy took control after losing opening break. Gareth never got going. Ted left his opening break shot short. Ken always in control after a few lucky 100 shots. I opening with 1k . Simon started quite well. But I soon got the break going and never looked in trouble. John played consistently all through the game. All on nothing with Steve. Started well and in control. Lost a 3k break in the closing stages which would have won the game and match.
So well played White Hart B. Always a great night with Gareth and the boys. Lovely spread to finish.
