Congratulations to Tunbridge Wells on winning the Division 1 One Day Inter League competition this year, just pipping Worthing in a very tight finish. The battle to avoid relegation was equally close with Brighton and Mid-Sussex just doing enough to stay ahead of Redhill who will join Littlehampton in Division 2 next season. The standard was very high this year with a total of 1,298,520 points scored on the day, which equated to an average of 6,183 per player in each leg which is considerably higher than 1,039,870 total points scored in 2016 (player average 4,952 per leg) so a big thank you to those that helped to set the tables up. Huge thanks as always to Jean for organising and running the day, to Matthew "Mobile PA System" Knight for keeping us all on schedule and informed as the day progressed, Colin and Jackie for the usual excellent selection of food and the Hurst Club for hosting the weekend. Great to hear that the raffle also raised £167 on the day so thanks to all the players for their support.

well done West Sussex who beat Hastings A by one point today and are therefore promoted to div 1, as far as i know, no one won all their games today so the stats should be a good read when posted.

Think it was 3 points Col? well i thought we were 3 points behind west sussex until the the last series where we beat them 8 - 6 but looks like i was wrong, looks like we drew 7 - 7 Thanks to JB for running the day with a little help from SC and Huw and others for helping with the tables at the end.
