Ben Procter 1 vs Stuart Carruthers 2 - Monday 13th March @ The Bull 8.00pm Dick Cable 1 vs Clive Thompson 2 - Monday 13th March @ The Bull 9.00pm A good night's play last night at the Bull. Stu very profligate, squandering about 15k over the three frames including BPs in both frames 1 and 3. This he shrugged off, Foxy style, and - with Ben unable to get the coffin lid shut - won with a pressure break of a thousand right at the end. Dick and I had a more sensible encounter, with Dick demonstrating a supreme ability to clear the table at will for the break-back and winning frame 1 at a canter. I however made the most of my chances when presented with the break and the toss in frame 3 was a good one to win. A good share-out of the scoring duties and occasional banter. Many thanks to the Bull for hosting what turned out to be a late night.
