Result follows for Montreal B 0 v County Oak B 5
Paul Bramhall 1070 v Jean Brackenbridge 3570 I lost a 2700 break on clear stupidity, then Lady Brackenbridge took command.
Stuart Matthews 430 v Stuart Carrutahers 7530 A tentative start from Mr. Matthews, whist Mr Carruthers was simply metronomic.
Peter Gwilliam 1610 v Jack Baden 6860 This is the one I scored, and used every digit I had. If jack is not Jersey champ in five years, make me a chocolate hat.
Gab Ladd 940 V Michelle Baden 3110 Gab's second game, and he done well. Michelle, well, what a good sport as always.
Peter Gwilliam 540 v Team Brackenbridge 6360 Playing the four player rule, Lady Brackenbridgre had the break, and was simply masterful
Many thanks to the Oak for a great night and for scoring the last two games. Also Lorraine and James for their hospitality .

Hollingbury A 4 Albion A 1
Comprehensive win for the Hollingbury sure our captain will put the scores up, and an interesting report.

Hollingbury A v Albion A Dave Bartrum 4500 v Joe Oakley BP Bob Thomas 8440 v Tony Jenner 1780 James Whittle 2680 v Matt Knight 3690 Brian Bartrum 4610 v Ricky Cunningham BP Doug Dawson 3840 v Phil Oakley 3060 An interesting match on an interesting table, being played at the Duke of Wellington
1.Dave off early, Joe couldn't get the balls back, Dave did a few times and added to his score
2.Excellent leg from Bob, had the highest opening break of the night 3k. TJ did manage to get them back but no legs on the break. He did get two 50/100 splits later on which was the most the visitors managed all night
3.Undeserving win for the away captain. James conspired to lose two winning breaks, I just about fell over the line in a crumpled heap
4.Brian off early, Rick did get them back but couldn't keep them. Pretty much the rest of the leg up the top end where it is pretty ugly
5.Unlike the other legs plenty of breaks each, a case of after you as neither player wanted to win....Doug managed it with a late 1k break
Thanks to the Reverend and his team for a good night with plenty of good natured banter especially during legs 3 and 5
Through no fault of Colin there was no food, Phil made a dash for the McDonalds drive through and purchased plenty of cheeseburgers and chips. Bob especially enjoyed his
Finally, no problems with people walking behind but there was some of the worst "entertainment" I have ever heard and there has been plenty to choose from

A belated report from our match with the County Oak boys, a complete mauling by the home team with each of them doing the job when they needed to. Tupps and Nigel mucked about and then Nigel took his chance. Gareth, as usual a smooth 9k or so leaving KT no time to match. I was once more pathetic and Marcus took full advantage. Glenn did his talking on the table, ( he also did it off the table ) and convincingly demolished Dave ,ending with a really excellent 15k. Ian stuffed Mike. So 5-0 makes the title race a good match between two very good sides.
