Excellent game from Dave B to take the last leg in consolation for the visitors, the home team had been happy to take their chances in the previous legs.

Wellie 3 - Hikers B 2 Nick 5540 - Rose 920 Garry 1800 - Ash 770 Luke 1610 - Zoe 2020 Tim 6840 - Martin 1360 Pam 950 - Lauryn 1060
A good evening with The Hikers guys. Zoe was put off with 2 dogs that were only interested in pizza and getting in the way. The last game was closer than it looked with both needing the last ball to win, they really wanted value for Tim's £1. Seven or eight goes each before Lauryn got here first league win.

Well, yes, a shock result ,perhaps, but full credit to our opposition. For them playing under difficult conditions with the memories of last week they were impressive. First game Brian off at 1400 Kev break back then off at 800, Kev break back and touched on nearly 7k , Brian played out the full 20 min clock and wins it. Steve on next and seemed to always be in control, Tupps useless, 2-0, next up George ( I think ) against Dave, back and forth finally Dave losing a winning break but George keeping his nerve and playing confidently to wrap it up. 3-0. Steve again as Sheena has a sprained wrist but no problem stuffing me 4-0 . We were given the last but Mike did actually win it, so 4-1. Brian rolled back the years with a great comeback but personally I was impressed with George, hopefully he will stay with the game as I can see a very good player in the making, with a bit of coaching.Posted correctly now, numpty.
