To be honest don't really want another person now as I have just spent all weekend doing new for formats for this comp and the Sussex Open The format will be round robin single leg games then 1st and 2nd play double leg main final and 3rd & 4th play double leg plate final
Well done to Joe Oakley on winning the Sussex Under 30s. In the final Joe beat Jamie Minihane. Jamie was 5k up after his break game but Joe was in fine form in the second leg and made enough to take his first Under 30s title. In the plate Jack Baden (who had the highest break of the day) beat George Fisher (who made his highest ever score of over 12k in the group stages). Alfie Millward (who made his highest competitive break) and James Nicot completed the line-up in what was a well contested competition. Thank you to everyone who gave of their time to help with scoring ensuring the event ran smoothly.
It was nice to hear some positive feedback from the players competing in the masters afterwards about the quality of the under 30s play, it is just a shame we cannot get a few more entries each year.
