Jack Baden please
It's going to run with 4 this year but is it really viable with such a small number for future years?

Have just finished doing the format for 4 players
It will be a round robin all games double legs
Looking to the future I think this competition will disappear which is s shame but really not worth the time and effort involved.
Perhaps people can have a think about this competition and suggestions for the future for discussion at the AGM

To be honest Doug when you turned up with the Zimmer frame we might have guessed you were over 30!!
But thankyou for your thoughtfulness and letting me have a weekend away from formats x

Well done to Joe Oakley on winning the Sussex Under 30s. In the final Joe beat Jamie Minihane. Jamie was 5k up after his break game but Joe was in fine form in the second leg and made enough to take his first Under 30s title. In the plate Jack Baden (who had the highest break of the day) beat George Fisher (who made his highest ever score of over 12k in the group stages). Alfie Millward (who made his highest competitive break) and James Nicot completed the line-up in what was a well contested competition. Thank you to everyone who gave of their time to help with scoring ensuring the event ran smoothly.
It was nice to hear some positive feedback from the players competing in the masters afterwards about the quality of the under 30s play, it is just a shame we cannot get a few more entries each year.
