So very sorry to hear of the passing of Derek Kimpton a Worthing League player for many years, mainly at the Ham, until his interest literally " went to the dogs" - ask Phil Oakley for details. Derek was a "fun" player and a keen supporter of the game, also a greengrocer of some note. Baskets of fruit or vegetables, sometimes both, were given as raffle prizes at many a finals night. He was also my greengrocer when I had the Guest House. Funeral details have been reported on the County Forum? My sincere condolences to Pat and all the family - sadly, existing arrangements, prevent me from expressing these, in person, at the funeral but my thoughts will be with them. R.I.P good friend.

Sad news and condolences to Derek`s family, as Terry has already said a respected member of the Worthing League, played for fun and always happy to have a bit of banter. RIP
