Our dear friend and secretary of Wycombe Bar Billiards will be turning 90 years old next week.
We are holding a SURPRISE celebration party at Totteridge Community Centre on Friday 23rd June from 7pm and all are welcome (other counties too :))
Would be lovely to see as many as possible to help Charlie celebrate this milestone.

Please wish Charlie a belated Happy Birthday Dawn - I hope he had a good night!
He has so much for bar billiards over the years - and still is! - that the game owes him a huge debt. If we all had contributed as much as Charlie has, then the game would not be in the dire straits it is now perhaps!

Thank you for those lovely words Tony, I will certainly pass them on. Yes, you are right Charlie has given us so much. He has been our Secretary for 46 years now. He and Ede had a lovely evening, there were over 50 of us at the Totteridge Community Centre and he was so pleased. They have been married nearly 69 years now - such an achievement. His actual birthday is on Tuesday, but he will be with his family. We all owe him so much for all his work over the years. I have some lovely stories that he typed up for me about Bar Billiards - I will share them one day, they are very funny.
