Excellent shot to hit out but outcome not so good, peg Colin cleans up Leg 3 - Bob 3k and off, Dave balls back, woefully off early. Bob 2k more, Dave unfortunate not to get balls back, Bob does and finishes well Leg 4 - Tupps going well but leaves split short, goes down the middle but flattens bp Ozzie off quickly first break, Tupps 4k, not quite enough as Phil finishes well (Btn A in big trouble) Leg 5 - Andy 2k, Nigel first to get them back excellent break and kills in first visit, then adds a few more later Leg 6 - Mike off on 1k, messing around before Mike knocks peg over moving awkward ball gives balls back. Silent takes advantage with 9.5k and touch Leg 7 - H very good 7k opener happy to keep them. Pete not much chance before H balls back to seal the comeback win Excellent night with friendly opponents. Plenty of nice banter between team-mates livening things up, lovely spread and good win having been in deep trouble

Table was challenging and seemed to get a bit more so as the evening wore on. Interesting that only 2 players held their break games. Games 3 and 4 went down to the wire. A good friendly evening at the Smugglers. Tasty hotdogs and chips. Nice to play there without a quiz going on! (Worthing league players will know what I mean. ).

Worthing A 4 Redhill A 3 T.Molloy 980 v 6850 Denise Wills - Molly left first one up short, Denise then banged in a 6k break. Terry never got the balls back again KT 4830 v 2750 V.Sparkes - Clear to say that it looked like neither of us wanted this one. I managed a half decent break to scab it Ian L 2090 v 5570 T.Cross - Tony off fairly early, Ian eventually got them back only to hit a split fat. Tony took advantage to win it M.Smith 8270 v 2310 J.Miller - At last someone from our team who could play the table lol. Martin opened with 7k+ G.Fitzjohn 4850 v 4150 C.Robbins - Very nip and tuck this one. Fitz nicked it near the end S.Mepham 7840 v 5570 J.Slee - A couple of breaks each here but the newly crowned Littlehampton master done the biz R.Taylor 2000 v 8760 DC - Roger off early and DC was always in control after Great night with the Redhill crowd as usual. Lovely pizzas for supper
