A good result for the visitors with the home team never getting going on the night. Sad to see the team there packing the table up and taking it out of the venue at the end of the match after just a few weeks at this venue, but it seems that they were not wanted there and so have to find a new home which I hope they will be able to do soon. Good luck to them for the rest of the season.

Tanya the Landlady at the Hove Park Tavern has asked me to express her thanks to Jim Millward for complimenting her on the food that was not provided. She also requests a visit from Chris Tupper to mask over a couple of screw holes in the ceiling before Friday as the Area Manager will be visiting then. I was told that I could not remove the table until I could assure her that Chris will pay a visit. Delighted to be leaving, I do not know how the staff tolerate her attitude.

What a shameful state of affairs Rev. I know you will be doing everything you can (as always) to find a good home....

Albion Fishersgate A 3-2 Montreal A Henry 12,140 - 1790 Darren** - Darren off early, H balls back and made 6k, then another 6k for a very good start Joe 0 - 11,910 Gaz** - Good opening 5k from Gary. Joe balls straight back left first split short, good shot to hit ball but nothing down, Gary balls back and very good finish, excellent leg from him Rick 14,390 - 1190 Moppy** - Mop off early, Rick balls back and off early but no messing around next visit with a very good 7k and touch for the win, added plenty more next visit too Matt 7110 - 6680 Steve** - Steve off early, Silent balls straight back going merrily along to 7k when rubbish one-up and kept them. Nearly regretted it as Steve played out to the bar but just ran out of time with a 6k break, great effort from Burnsy. Relieved and happy home captain with an unassailable lead (4 player) Rick 3330 - 4900 Bob** - Bob off early, plenty of mucking around Bob first to get them back and made 3.6k break. Rick got them back with time but happy to win just the one leg in the evening and Bob held on for 3-2 Enjoyable night as always with the Mont boys, we had to use the 4 player rule as TJ on family duties, we missed him (well off the table anyway)
