Stout House F BFZ Roffey SSC 5
Scott Hope 1760 Steve Merriott 7700 Dave Simmons 930 Dick Cable 7400 Stuart Hope 280 Lee Cable 9070 Colin Bolton 760 John Slee 9520 (Brk. 9310) Grant Hope 2210 Dave Howlett 3220
Game 1: Sniffer kicked off with 7k. Scott looked smart. Game 2: Close at start then 2x 3ks for Homer. Game 3: Moose could have played with a broom handle and still got loads tonight. Game 4: Old form Sleezy tonight, then I think old age caught up at 9k3 and he fell asleep, otherwise he'd have kept going. Game 5: Close-ish game. Twiggy tried to lose but couldn't. Valiant effort from Grant.
I think the phrase, 'We wuz whupped tonight.' would be quite a fair assessment of this performance. Thanks to Barry for the usual spread of gourmet sandwiches.

Springbok SC 1 Alfold SSC 4 Alice 360 Garry 2230 Alice popped in to help us out having not picked up a cue for a year. She made every effort and lost more than she recorded. Garry was never in danger and was very considerate throughout. Gary 7550 Steve 680 I never saw this game as covering the bar for Gary, from what I can make out Steve let him in early and that was that. Trevor 220 Malcolm 2080 Mmmmm not sure what to say apart from I was pants lost all my points and found the pegs more often then not. The Major was slow to start but got going and was never under any threat. Bill BP Dave 1660 Dave started brightly and gave Bill the tough job of catching him, which he did fairly well until the ball took out the black peg. Mike 1910 Jason 2750 Jason put the early pressure on and Mike had it all to do. both players played well and either were deserving of the point. Another 4 & 1 loss for Springbok, things have to change soon, don't they?
