Seven sisters 3. 2. County Oak
Will post scores tomoz (unless Chris posts them)
Good night with the seven sisters who took there chances better than us
Think jet lag was a factor for some of our team (well me!) lol
Unfortunately no food was supplied and aa some of us had rushed out from getting back from jersey the plough did a roaring trade in crisps and pork scratchings although roast ox flavour was not appreciated by some! Lol

Nice 7k break from matt, balls dropped for some, not for all, think it was a shame no food, not sure whose fault, but another good night with the oak.

Glynde horse 4:1 Blacksmiths arms
Jan Bithel bt Alec Pope. Alec off early Jan with a steady 5k and Alec couldnt clear.
Ric Bithel bt Mike Daw. Rick with a steady 4k and held. I struggled to clear until the end and put in 3.9k before rushing a split just before the bar but didnt have time to catch Rick.
Dave Knight lost to Fred Pope. Not much heavy scoring and plenty of chances for both who cleared a few times. As ever The Grinder (Fred) ground out the victory to give us a chance.
Richard Todd bt Jamie Minihane. Richard started off steadily with near 2k. Jamie struggled with 2 black pegs but did clear only to fluff the 1up. Richard maintained a 1k lead until the end.
Dave Todd beat Clive Minihane. Dave consistently scoring with most visits and Clive struggled as most of us did and kept the family theme going by knocking down the black peg. With balls flying back toward the balk line Clive never really gave himself a chance to get in the game. Dave ran out an easy winner.
Well done Glynde Horse,
Thank you for a pleasant evening

Apologies for the cock-up on the website this week, which has now been sorted. The member of staff responsible has been disciplined, and steps put in place to ensure that it will not happen again.
