First four games result set early with one player getting on with the table, the other not so. Last game was a bit 'Meh' with neither player making much. As Chip commented, "Ooh. You're playing a friendly!"
Pleasant evening with plenty of chat including an insight into Dude's ironing habits. Rounded off with Barry's gourmet sandwiches, Billy's legendary onions and a penalty shootout. Who could ask for more?

Springbok SC 1 Southwater Club 4
Bill 450 Mel 4070 Mel got the break from the off and that was really the undoing of Bill, who when he got to the table struggled to make an impact.
Mike 780 Ollie 2660 Ollie left up short early on letting Mike in only to see his score of 1500 be snuffed out by a peg. Ollie was not letting that opportunity go and settled in to claim the point.
Lewis 520 Keith 5150 Keith found the break and put a commanding score on the board, Lewis was not having any luck with the balls and could do nothing to get back into the game.
Gary 1750 Tony Franks 5590 Tony left his first attempt of the break short letting Gary in to put 1500 on the board, but that was the only error Tony made and wrapped up the game with a decent couple of breaks.
Trevor 1830 Tony T 1300 Tony let Trevor in early and he put 1500 on the board. Tony fought back well and when Trevor lost a big score at the end had every chance to steal the game, however the lack of balls and time worked against him.
Nice evening, and wrapped up with some decent nibbles.
