It is with sadness that I have to report that Darrell died today, about 1pm, after a period of illness. My memories of Darrell go back to when I started playing, and especially to when he was the first person to show me the Jersey tables, at the Esplanade !!! and shall miss him. RIP Darrell

Extremely sad at the loss of another good guy. Darrell had suffered ill-health for some time but there was not much that could keep him from his billiards. Sincere condolences to Marion and the family.

Marion has asked me to convey to all friends and wellwishers that Darrell's funeral service will be at 3pm on Friday 4th May at the Surrey and Sussex Crematorium at Worth (Balcombe Rd, Crawley). Afterwards a gathering at Heathy Farm (the pub opposite).
