Holbrook Club (1) V Handcross (4)
Handcross took full advantage of having all the breaks last night taking the first 4 frames. Wins for Skipper Alan Downs, Chris Kirkam, Roy Wells & Darrel Skinner. Unfortunately Mother Hall couldn't finish the white wash (not feeling 100% well) narrowly losing to the Holbrook Skipper. A very enjoyable evening.

Plough 1 Dun Horse 4 Dan Webber came close to taking a scalp against MR Jobbins. Colin Worsell was Plough's only point taker. Good wins for Sparky & best of all sir Jock o the strap who fired in 6220 on the new Plough top.

Certainly playing in the opens improves your game and builds your confidence. Playing against the best and doing ones best to compete ( even in the plate ) makes the competitive edge harder.

Playing against the best and doing ones best to compete ( even in the plate ) makes the competitive edge harder. No... it was playing WITH the best 8-) ;D ;) in Lewes league last year that REALLY helped.
